Cancellation Policy

                                                                                          BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

All bookings made are subject to our booking conditions and cancellation policy. Compliance with this policy is deemed as accepted when you make a reservation.

 

 

Cancellation Policy: 

  • All bookings cancelled incur a $30.00 administration fee.

  •  Bookings cancelled within 7 days of  arrival will incur a charge for 1 night/deposit.

  • During Peak periods bookings cancelled within 7 days will be 50% of the total cost of the booking. Bookings are transferable to friends or family in the event that a Guest cannot make their commitment to their booking. We will make every effort to refill cancelled bookings and if the cancelled booking is filled, only the $30 cancellation fee applies.

  •  If a Guest misses their reservation, and for any reason fails to arrive for their scheduled reserved start date, the booking will automatically be charged in full.

 

Deposits:

  • A deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation will be requested 3-4 weeks prior to booking. The deposit request offers a link for online payment or bank details for a direct transfer. Alternatively, we are able to take your credit card details over the phone.

 

Peak Period Bookings - Xmas and Easter, School holidays:

  • Due to the very high demand at these times bookings are not changeable or deposits refundable. We will gladly hold your deposit on your guest account for a future visit.

 

We are aware that due to some circumstances, cancellations are unavoidable, please feel free to call our office regarding your cancellations.

 

Credit Card Details:

  • Credit card details must be provided to make a booking and this is provided as security on the booking. The card will not be charged unless the Guest wishes to pay in advance. The balance of your accommodation is payable via credit card, cash or EFTPOS at the time of check-in.

 

Bookings with Bank Transfer:

  • If you don’t have a credit card you can make a reservation by providing a deposit via direct transfer. Our deposit request form supplies our banking details.

 

Third Party Booking Websites:

  •  For bookings made via a third party booking agent, we will require your credit card details at the time of check-in. Card details are held as security on your booking and in the event of breakages or damage to the chalet or the property.

  • $100 will be pre-authorised (but not debited unless necessary) for extra cleaning or replacement of small items, your card may be charged at our discretion. Compliance with this policy is deemed as accepted when you make a reservation.

 

House Rules:

  • Please be aware that country living comes hand-in-hand with domestic pests. Please ensure your cottage bench tops and floors as well as patio are free of food scraps. A broom and dustpan are provided should you require it (pantry cupboard).

  • Indoor cooking appliances (pots etc) must be thoroughly cleaned and outdoor appliances (BBQ) must be wiped down, each cottage is supplied with dish soap, cleaning cloth, pot scourers and dish towels

  • Crockery, glass ware and cutlery are to be washed, dried and packed away before check-out. A cleaning fee, for any re-washing of utensils or extra cleaning will be charged.

  • We trust our guests will respect each other’s privacy and keep noise levels down to a minimum, after 10pm.
